The sanctuary (now exhibition space) measuring at 60′ x 54′ x 30′ occupies the majority of the building’s square footage. The vaulted ceiling and dental molding is constructed of steam-bent and tooled white pine, oak, and chestnut, painstakingly hand built in the 19th century.
This is the space in its current state. We are now starting to shift out attention to finishing it out for exhibitions. Over the spring months we will be installing windows, patching and painting the walls, installing more lighting, finishing the floors, and working on the alarm system, having the space up and running for the fall season.
